Jessianne Castle enjoys the simple things—a good horse to ride, happy dogs and a view of the mountains. She was born and raised in the fertile soil of Montana’s Gallatin Valley where cool water and cottonwood trees were a child’s best friend. A historian by training, writer by choice and conservationist at heart, Jessianne is proud to call bear country her home and is honored to share her talent of storytelling with those in her community. She hopes to move hearts and minds and encourage common values and a shared vision for the future of grizzly bears.
Currently Jessianne lives with her husband and band of critters on a lodgepole ridge west of Kalispell, Montana, where she practices solutions journalism and thoughtful storytelling.
